Hey, guys! Another great news to all Malaysian Yu-Gi-Oh! players. There will be a Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Asian Tournament for Malaysian on 21th November 2010. This tournament is a bit different with the usual tournament because this is the new and first team play tournament organised by Konami.
Without wasting your time, let's have a look for the tournament details. Detail of the tournament is as below:
Date: 21th November 2010(Pre-registration date: 14th November 2010[Done through online registration at http://www.konami-asia.com/th/yugi5d/event/acs/2010plus/online_application.php?lang=cn-t])
Time of Tournament: 10am - 6pm
Age ranges: 10 years old and above
Venue of Tournament: Sungei Wang Plaza 6th Floor (next to Green Box Karaoke)
Registration Fee: Free of Charge (FOC) but each team must bring along 10 Official Yu-Gi-Oh! Booster Packs' packet or 2 boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Structure Decks' boxes for entry into the tournament (proof of purchase)
Prizes:
1st prize Air ticket & Accommodation to Hong Kong for Team of 3 persons to participate in Hong Kong Yu-Gi-Oh!OCG Asian Championship Finals on 12th December 2010, Yu-Gi-Oh! Booster Packs x 30 packs, Yu-Gi-Oh! play mat x3 pieces, Yu-Gi-Oh! Trophy
2nd prize Yu-Gi-Oh! Booster Packs x 15 packs, Yu-Gi-Oh! play mat x3 pieces, Yu-Gi-Oh! Trophy
3rd prize Yu-Gi-Oh! Booster Packs x 9 packs, Yu-Gi-Oh! card box x3 pieces, Yu-Gi-Oh! Trophy

Tournament Details:
1. Each team must comprise of exactly 3 Yu-Gi-Oh! players
2. The team leader has to decide on a team name, member's position and ensure that the deck list of the members have been finalized prior to registration. Once it has been submitted, no further change is allowed.
3. Each team must share 1 Forbidden Card List, which means that total number of cards for
i) Limited type cards: maximum 1 piece for whole team player's deck
ii) Semi-limited type cards: maximum 2 pieces for whole team player's deck
iii) Regular type cards: maximum 3 pieces for whole team player's deck
4. All competition will be in single elimination format.
Special Notice:
1.Korea and Upper card are not allowed in ALL Official tournaments. The tournament organizer will only allow original Konami Japanese or Asia English Version Official Card Game to be used in Official Tournament.
2. The game products on the Asian Forbidden card list [2010-10 version] are not allowed in this tournament. Please visit http://www.konami-asia.com/th/yugi5d/en/event/dk_forbidden.php for more details.
3. Only original Konami Deck Protectors and Card Sleeves can be used in Official Tournament. Card Protector from Academy Duel Disks are not allowed to be used in tournament.
